Tsukasa Goto was born in Tokyo. He studied at Salesian Polytechnic in Tokyo and then he graduated at University of Art and Design of Nagoya in Japan. In 2004 he moved to Milan where he completed his studies and started his professional career. In his first Italian period, he developed the design research and collaborated with other arts.
In 2006-2007 he collaborated with the artist Luca Pancrazzi and in 2007 with the designer Donata Paruccini. Since 2007 he has been collaborating with David Chipperfield Architects Milan.
In 2011 he received the “Cristalplant Design Contest + MDF ” Award, a special mention price for the project Fua Fua; in the same year the company Officinanove produced the modular system ‘Mademoiselles’, designed in collaboration with Marco Guazzini. In 2013 he started to develop personal projects, by presenting the new idea concept “Facendo” (Doing) during the Salone del Mobile at Garden-K in Milan. In 2014 he presented new products at Salone Satellite at Milano Rho Fiera. He collaborates with Officinanove, Elements Optimal Denmark and other international clients. Nature shapes and colours, observation of the natural and urban geometries are well-thought-out for every new design process.
