Graduated in 2012 as an interior architect at Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, Netherlands, he later attended a 3D design course at Camberwell College of Arts in London, which led HER to open her own design studio. Angelica uses simple definite shapes, contrasts with the materials and subtle details, resulting in balanced and highly captivating objects. All this, combined with the functionality and natural appearance of the materials, creates a strong connection between the product and its user. The project selected by Carrara Design Factory was inspired by all the influences of the area: the surrounding landscape, the colors and texture of the marbles, and local cuisine. From careful observation of all these elements, Angelica decided to create an object with a simple design that was appealing because it emphasizes the characteristics of the raw material and it respected its uniqueness and non-regeneration, trying to create less waste of material .
